Itinerary:

Day 1 – Stone Town — Arriving in Zanzibar and after clearing customs we head to our hotel in Stone Town and take a walk around this historical town exploring markets and beaches. B&B

Day 2 – Pemba Island— The morning is free to take part in one of many tours on offer – highly recommended is the Prison Island Tour. After check out and get ready for our transfer to the airport for our flight to Pemba Island. Once we have arrived at the Island we get received for our transfer to the Lodge. The afternoon is spent at leisure getting acquainted with our Dive Centre. FB.

Day 3 – 5 – Pemba Island— The next 3 days will be spent doing 6 dives at the resort. The afternoons are spent at leisure relaxing in this beautiful beach resort. FB

Non Divers Can spend the days exploring the Island with a forest walk viewing some of the wild life available on land. A visit to one of the ruins on the island gives an interesting view into the history of this area. The local markets and their bustle are worth a visit. Snorkeling can be done around one of smaller islands to see some spectacular and diverse reef fish.

Day 6 – Stone Town— After a day spent relaxing or exploring the island we get ourselves ready for our flight back to Zanzibar. Here we spend the night at the Hotel and enjoy dinner at own expense in town. B&B

Day 7 – Mafia Island— The morning is free to explore the town or enjoy a spice tour at own expense. In the afternoon we catch our flight to Mafia Island. Upon arrival we are greeted for our transfer to our Lodge. The afternoon is spent familiarizing ourselves with our Dive Centre. B&B

Day 8 – 10 – Mafia Island—We spend these 3 days getting 6 dives in and spending our afternoons at the beach and relaxing in our idyllic beach environment. B&B

Non Divers can spend the days exploring the markets, sailing, fishing, discovering the Syke’s Monkeys, taking part in Sunset Dhow trips, snorkeling or exploring the ancient Oman ruins from old Arab traders. B&B

Day 11 – Stone Town — The morning is free before we get ready to be transferred to the airport for our afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival the afternoon is free to dine in one of the many restaurants in Stone Town. B&B

Day 12 – Home — The morning can be spent taking an optional Jozini Forest Tour to look for the rare Kirk’s Red Columbus Monkeys. We return back to Stone Town for our flight back home. B&B
